February is almost over. Where has this month gone? I swear it was January like, two days ago. Either way, the end of another month means more favorites. Yes, I’m back with another installment of favorites!
- Blue light glasses: I live in front of a screen, whether it’s my laptop or my phone. I’m also prone to migraines. So, a couple of FabFitFun boxes ago, I added a pair of blue light glasses. They’re godsent! I’ve noticed such a difference in my headaches from using them. They’re also super cute. So, I don’t feel silly taking zoom meetings in them. I 10/10 recommend a pair if you spend an extended amount of time in front of a screen.
- Calm the f*ck down: This is my book of choice for February. I’ve mentioned before that I deal with anxiety. This book has been helping. It makes me feel less alone while offering some healthier coping skills. It’s a self-help book that doesn’t exactly feel like a self-help book. It’s a great read.
- Butterfly chair: When I tell you I never leave mine, I’m not exaggerating. I rearranged my bedroom about a month back. So, I created this little sitting area that I adore. I work exclusively from my butterfly chair. Some days I honestly spend 12 hours in the chair.
- Casetify case (iPhone 11): I’m a klutz. I trip all the time, over everything. I even trip over the air. I also drop everything regularly, especially my phone. I can’t have that break; it’s my lifeline. I’m very particular about my phone cases. I’ve tried so many brands. Casetify is by far one of my favorites! The texture of the case stays pristine. You know how some cases get scratchers or a weird residue on the back over time? That never happens with Casetify. They’re also military-grade. So, when your phone drops, there’s no fear. They also offer a wide variety of styles and designs!
- Reusable water bottle: She’s drinking water? You in the back! You heard right. I’m drinking water! Filling up a new water bottle every day has helped so much. It reminds me that I need to drink water. Could I be drinking more water? Of course, but it’s all about the baby steps.
- Bra tops: If I could marry one piece of clothing, I think it would be bra tops. These are just a great throw-on. I’ve mentioned them in previous lookbooks. I don’t go out often, so sometimes I like to feel cute around the house. Popping one of my bar tops on makes me feel more put together. I also don’t have to wear a bar with them, which is always a win. Not to mention, they’re great for layering under jackets, sweatshirts, and everything else.
- Papier journal: I’ve officially gotten back into journaling. Tackling three resolutions in one month, who is she? I’ll be honest; it’s not a daily activity. But having a place to keep my journals when inspiration strikes helps a lot. My Papier journal is hardback, blue, and lined. The front is customized. It’s everything I look for in a journal; I love it.
- Cup o’Coffee: We know how much I love coffee. So, are we surprised that I love a face mask made from coffee? I’ve been using this mask on and off for a year. I’ve mentioned it over on my Instagram, which you should follow if you’re not already. We have a lot of fun over there, I promise. Lush makes it. It smells delectable and does wonders for your skin.
- Gel pens: I’m picky about my pens, but I still like to have fun. I picked up a pack of gel pens from Target a few weeks ago. When I tell you I was so excited about these pens, I still am. I used to LOVE gel pens as a kid. So, they come with a sense of nostalgia. They write so smoothly and make it easy to keep things color-coordinated. A few of them are glittery too. I can honestly say hands down the best purchase of February.
- Doctor Rogers healing lip balm: Another subscription box product that I adore. With the wicked winter that’s been happening, my lips and my skin have been cracking. No amount of lotion or lip balm had been helping. This healing balm is a game changer! I put it on my lips before bed, so it works overnight. When I wake up, they’re soft and smooth! It also works on your hands as well. So, when my hands are cracking, I’ll put the healing balm on before lotion. I’m obsessed for sure.
I’d love to know what you’re enjoying this month. How do you find your favorites? I’m quickly learning that subscription boxes are one of the ways for me. But that’s part of the fun, right?
