More of my favorite things!

I’m starting to wonder where our months are going. Weren’t we here like yesterday? Regardless, it’s the best time of the month! 

1. Mood Lamp: Does this lamp change colors to support my emotional wreck of a soul? No, no, it does not. However, it lights a quarter of my room beautifully. It lets me read before bed without having to get up to kill the lights! I know I’m not the only one who becomes lazier the later it gets. No one wants to get up once they’ve found that comfy spot. Target has saved the day again!
2. The Vampire Diaries: I know I keep saying it, but I’m going to finish it. I’m just not at a place where I can mentally or emotionally handle that rollercoaster. I almost finished season 4 this month. I’ve cried at least six times, but I’m fine. I’m fine. 
3. Pearl Initial Necklace: Stone and Strand, you beautiful jewelry company! This necklace is stunning. I spent six months obsessing over this necklace before I finally went for it. It’s everything I thought it was and more! It’s dainty but noticeable. It’s all the pizzaz I want around my neck on a delicate gold chain. 
4. Ramen Noodles: Have I been on a ramen kick? Yes, but do you blame me? They’re absolutely delicious. I’ve been enjoying Oceans vegan chicken at least once a week. I’ve been burning myself out lately, so it’s the perfect pick me up at the end of a long day. 
5. Tarte Drink of H20 hydrating boost: This holy grail was courtesy of my summer FabFitFun box! I didn’t realize how dehydrated my skin was until I started using this cream twice a day. The texture of my skin has improved. So has my complexion. Thanks to the skincare community, I know to bring it down my neck too! I’m not ashamed to admit, the skin on my neck wasn’t thriving. It’s all good now, though. I’m genuinely obsessed. 
6. Scrunchies: I’ve rediscovered a love for this 90s trend. With the humidity and heat kicking up on the East Coast, my natural hair has decided to thrive. So, on my curly girl days, I live by a scrunchie. 
7. Sharpie pens: The perfect pens! I’ve never met a regular ink pen that wrote smoothly until now! As a writer, I’m a pen snob. I know what I like. These pens are everything my writing heart needs. 
8. Coffee ice cubes: Do I need to say more? I want to meet the goddess who created such an incredible coffee enhancer. I never have to worry about watered-down coffee again. 
9. TikTok: I spend 98% of my nights scrolling through TikTok. It’s become a bad habit. But as far as bad habits go, I’m pretty happy with this one. 
10. The 2000s purse: Do you remember the cute little shoulder bags, the ones that stay perfectly on your shoulder and under your armpit? They’ve made their return! The 2000s are back; I’m in full support! I’m carrying a pink shoulder bag with a gold chain. Not only do I feel like Hilary Duff on the red carpet, but I also don’t feel the need to pack my life in this purse. Just the necessities. It’s an all-around win. 

We’re almost halfway through July. We essentially missed an entire year while another one is just speeding by! I only know what month it is because of these favorites.
