I’m bringing favorites back. Hearing or reading about what people are enjoying is one of my favorite things. I’ve found some of my favorites through others. How many times can I use the word favorite(s) before it loses all appeal? I think after this next one, it’ll have lost some or all. So, here are my favorites from this month!
- Glossier lip balm: We all know I reside on the East Coast. Here, we’ve been experiencing some intense cold. Unfortunately, that causes cracked lips. To mend and protect my lips, I’ve been using balm dotcom. First and foremost, they smell amazing. I’m wearing birthday cake as I type this. There are also a few tinted versions. They’re great alone or on top of your most worn lip product. I would not survive the winter without it!
- Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer: This hair tool is a god sent! It’s also something I’ve loved for months. However, it’s much more crucial during the winter. I have very thick as well as curly hair. So, it use to take me hours to dry and style my hair. Now I have a perfect blow out in under an hour. No more going to bed with a wet head and freezing to death.
- Marshmallow blanket: If you listen to my podcast, you know I’ve been living in my blanket. It came in my winter FabFitFun box. I’m Linus without shame. My blanket goes everywhere I do. At least in the house!
- Kate Spade planner: I’m obsessed with organization. So, why not do it fashionably? This year I’ve been utilizing my planner differently. Instead of planning my month, I’ve been planning weekly. My days start with a list, which lets me see what I’ve gotten done. It’s helped me get through January. I’m just hoping I can keep it up.
- Mejuri hoops: Mejuri is my favorite jewelry company! They’re great quality pieces for an affordable price. I have super sensitive ears, which can make earrings hard to find. I also prefer minimal looks, like dainty hoops. I purchased the mini hoops as well as the small hoops. I’ve only taken them out to wash my hair. They’re comfortable and haven’t irritated my ears. I’m for sure getting more.
- Beanie: Again, it’s winter. It’s super cold, but I do walk outside. I walk my dog and myself almost every day. So, my beanie is a lifesaver. I can feel the difference when I forget my hat. It’s super fashionable, but even more practical.
- Spongelle (hand cream): While we’re on the subject of cold, my hands can’t take it. I hate when my hands feel dried and cracked. Between the constant handwashing and the cold, I almost lost all hope. I got this hand cream in one of my recent FabFitFun boxes. This hand cream not only leaves my hands soft but also without that greasy residue. I’m getting another bottle when this runs out.
- Drybar dry shampoo: Dry shampoo is one of my most used hair products. I don’t wash my hair every day because of the thick texture. So, sometimes it needs a little help! I decided to give Drybar’s a try. It checks all of my boxes. It gives my hair volume and smells like mimosas. It’s a little pricier but worth it.
- Drybar’s Triple Sec 3-in-1: If dry shampoo is my most used hair product, texture spray is runner-up. Most of the texture spray’s I’ve used have let my hair with somewhat of a sticky feeling. This stuff doesn’t! This spray works on any style.
- Ugg boots: These aren’t your typical Ugg boots. They’re more like Doc Martins met a Chelsea boot. They’re white with black soles, so they go with everything. They’re also weatherproof, which is perfect for this coast. These boots elevate my casual outfits without making me feel too fancy.
These were a few of my favorite things. Please, like this post if you continued singing the song! Either way, I hope you all enjoyed it. I’m bringing the favorites trend back in 2021. I’d love to hear your favorite things along the way.
