Who’s ready for fall fashion?
We all knew this was coming. It was only a matter of time before I tackled fall fashion, so what better time to do it than the official first day.
I’ve consulted with Pinterest {psst…you should follow my page because we love some inspiration Pinterest} and discussed it with my closet. I think we’re ready.
Fall is the season to thrive. It might also be the best fashion season of all. Any excuse to be comfy, am I right? Some of the biggest trends have started incorporating pieces like crewnecks, joggers, and of course, we can’t forget the sweaters. The second the temperature drops below 70 I’m wrapped in a sweater. Here on the east coast fall has been teasing us and it’s been a vibe. The sweaters are out, everything is pumpkinified, and I’m ready for the Hocus Pocus of it all.

Okay, so maybe I can’t fully blame Pinterest. I’ve been sporting these trends for a couple of years now, but Pinterest makes me feel validated and trendy.
Joggers, we know you well. We reach for you on days when we want to live our coziest lives, but did you know you look great with booties? There hasn’t been a better combination since Reese’s cup. When you combine a great fitting jogger, with a sweater or a graphic top, and an iconic pair of booties; you’ll look like you just stepped off the runway.

Crewnecks, the classier version of a hoodie. There are two trends to take your crew necks to the next level. Popping a collared top under your tried and true will give it an elevated vibe. Tapping into the preppy trend without overdoing it. Pairing it with a jacket is a game-changer. Denim gives into its casual nature, but a trench coat is begging you to be on the cover of Vogue.
Layers you’re a saving grace for temperamental weather and revitalizing old trends. Graphic tees and crop tops bow down to you. They never need to miss a season when paired with the proper piece.

Cardigans do wonders when they’re not under someone’s bed. A cardigan can tie an entire look together, whether it’s perfectly oversized or a bold color. It’s a timeless trend for all occasions. Your favorite mom jeans, with a classic crop top, and an oversized cardigan will be your go-to, but don’t forget the French tuck!
Jackets just set the vibe. A look can be stepped up by adding the right one. You can also summon the casual gods with a little help from a denim number. They almost all have pockets, so how could you leave home without one?

Sweater Weather –cause it’s too cold whoa for you here and now. That’s what fall is all about, right? The ultimate icon.
