FabFit~Summer~Fun

Do you know what I look forward to every season? I’ll give you a hint; it’s a subscription.

I shared my love of subscriptions a couple weeks ago, if you haven’t read It’s all about the Ritual you really need to get it together and go check it out, but it inspired a new series.

I’m personally subscribed to a handful of services, so every few weeks we’re going to get down to business and see what services are worth it and what services fall short.

There is a subscription box for everything, so how do you decide what to go with?

What if you really didn’t have to choose? What if there was a box based in providing a variety?

FabFitFun is a subscription box giving you just that. It’s a seasonal subscription, which means a new box each season, filled with goodies from all the best aspects of life. Like, beauty, fashion, wellness, and fitness. The best part, they’re all full size!

Have you heard of anything better?

I’m very big into the beauty community, but sometimes things can be very expensive. I won’t lie I’ll wait until the very last drop to repurchase products. I’m talking like scrapping the bottom of bottles or pans and sometimes I’ll skip out on something all together.

Fashion is a passion of mine. I live for styling and keeping up with the latest trends *be sure to listen to my new podcast episode this Thursday for all things summer looks* but that too can be expensive. I mean there are consignment shops and thrift shops that are just as amazing. However, all that thrifting can add up too!

I aspire to be one with wellness. I’m continuously trying to better my understanding of what wellness is and how to attain a truly well state. I’ll be honest I have very little knowledge in that department. It’s a learning curve to say the least.

I love fitness, but I can assure you I’m not a fitness guru. Not even close. Most of my fitness knowledge has come from endless hours of YouTube and a variety of pins on Pinterest *follow me @AlyPaige*. Regardless, I’m always looking for the right equipment or a sense of what I should be doing.

I say all of this to say FabFitFun gives me all of the above and it gives me all of the above in full sizes. It also gives me a choice within my box. How could you not love this box?

Full transparency, this is my first box from FabFitFun and I will be keeping my subscription.

So, I was back and forth about this subscription. I don’t know about any of you, but I see ads for this box everywhere. I eventually decided to give in. I paid $39.99 for my first box and subscribed as a seasonal member.

Membership breakdown:

Seasonal members pay $49.99 every season {I did have a promo code for my first box!} and have choices, but not as many annual members. I chose three out eight items in my summer box. You also have access to various FabFitFun sales. These sales have items from beauty to fashion to lifestyle and everything in between.

Annual members pay $179.99 once a year and have more choices when it comes to their box. They have the same access as seasonal members, but their customization takes place before the window opens for seasonal members.

Yumi Kim Wireless charging pad: retails for $35

HydroPeptide Moisture Reset: retails for $120

The Giving Keys Mini Key Necklace: retails for $45

Zoe Ayla Ice Roller: retails for $30

Issac Mizrahi Loves Xo, Siena Vase: retails for $28

Winky Lux Uni-Brow Universal Eyebrow Pencil: retails for $16

MakeupDrop Hybrid Makeup Applicator: retails for $20

Spongelle Coconut Verbena Hand Cream: retails for $18

Grand total: $312

Remember, I only spent $39.99 for all of that. Not every box is worth that much, but you’re getting at least $200+ worth of products every time. Plus, if you become an annual member you’re saving around $20.

Not every box has something fashion related or fitness related or even beauty related, but there’s a nice mix. There’s also a great sprinkle of lifestyle bits.

As far as the summer box goes I know there are plenty of things I would have never purchased on my own. That’s not to say that I don’t like them or am not interested; it’s saying that I would have put the money towards something else.

Having a subscription box lets you try products at a discounted price to see if they’re really worth the hype. Some of my favorite things have come from a subscription box and let me just say I’ve repurchased them on a number of occasions.

I give FabFitFun a 10/10 in my book. Some of my favorite bits and bobs all in one place and all full sized.

It does not get better!
